Self-Awareness Of Foot Function
The results of the gaitscan assessment are presented in an interesting and informative way, enabling you to see first hand how your feet really do function!
The practitioner should then explain to you:
- how your weight is distributed across the four quarters of the foundation;
- the differences in function between both feet;
- the approximate alignment of your feet relative to the lower leg;
- how your particular foot function has created the symptoms you currently suffer;
- your prognosis for continuing without Functional Orthotic Therapy;
- the likely benefits of undergoing Functional Orthotic Therapy.
Armed with an awareness of how your feet function and how their function is related to recognisable symptoms in your own body, you gain a fantastically indepth and useful insight into your own unique health problems.
At the end of the assessment, you can choose whether to go ahead with Functional Orthotic Therapy. If you decide to take the plunge, the devices can be ordered straight away or, if you want time to think about it, you can simply walk away with the information. You can even come back at a later date if you decide to go ahead and purchase a pair of functional orthotics.
