Objectives 2006-2007

Root2Being is a success. We want to build on that so you can access the information you need as quickly and easily as possible.

Root2Being was designed to share factual information and increase awareness and understanding about the relationship between foot function and health.

The first year's results show that it has landed on target and more importantly, its' success has confirmed that there are indeed many of you out there who are interested in learning more about this relationship.

Now that we can be confident in our assumptions about this interest, and we can rely on the content of the website for support, we intend to build on this solid foundation in the following ways:

  • Make it easier for you to get in contact with Practitioners;
  • Develop a series of leaflets and posters which clearly and simply explain about foot function, custom orthoses, your foot type and how it may be affecting your health;
  • Present a series of fun, informative presentations to local groups, sports clubs/societies, schools and healthcare practices which will give you an undertandable introduction to foot function and prescription orthoses, and the chance to have your own foot type assessed;
  • Encourage those of you who share similar views to get in touch to help develop and promote Root2Being in the future;

To launch the begiinning of our second year, we have created R2B Interactive, a new channel which will form the focal point of these changes and give you a place from where you can quickly and easily find out relevant information about foot function and health.
